- What We Do
Workplace giving programs provide an easy way to provide hope and healing to those who need it desperately.
Matching Gifts: Does doubling or even tripling your donation to CMMB - at no cost to you - sound appealing? Your employer’s matching gift program is a great way to do just that! Many corporations are prepared to match every donation made by their employees to designated charities, dollar-for-dollar. If you work for a corporation with a matching gift program, the good that you do with your own donation is automatically multiplied when you make that gift in combination with your company program.
Several employees at the global medical supply company BD agreed to volunteer to work for a short time at CMMB sites in Africa. To support the efforts of these volunteers, their colleagues organized a fund-raising campaign within the company, and the company itself agreed to match all funds raised in the campaign.
Matching Gift Programs: Check with your employer’s human resources department to see if they have a matching gift program. If they do, complete your company's matching gift form and mail it to CMMB with your gift. CMMB will verify receipt of your gift and send it to your company for completion. Your employer will then send its matching donation to CMMB.
The United Way: Your company may participate in the United Way. In many local United Way campaigns, CMMB is a designated charity. If CMMB is not listed as a participant in your area, ask if you can designate CMMB under the Donor Designation Program.
Corporate Programs: Your company may have its own corporate employee gift program. If so, ask if you can designate CMMB under the Donor Designation Program. Some companies disburse matching gifts on a quarterly or annual basis. If you have any questions about the match, please contact your human resources department.
Public Sector Employees: Support Catholic Medical Mission Board through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
