Healing Help Program

CMMB's Healing Help program responds to the dire shortage of quality medicines and primary health care products in resource-poor countries. CMMB receives generous donations of high-quality medicines and other products from our partners in the pharmaceutical and medical supplies industries. CMMB then sends these medicines and supplies to hundreds of locations worldwide, through our extensive network of in-country partners. All CMMB-supplied medicines and medical supplies are distributed free of charge to all those in need around the world.

Over the last ten years, CMMB has provided over $2 billion worth of donated medicines and medical supplies to our trusted local health care partners in over 100 countries.

Doctors, nurses and other health care professionals from the U.S. who are preparing for health missions to resource-poor countries frequently contact CMMB to obtain necessary medical supplies. Through CMMB's Medical Supplies for Mission Trips program, we provide these valuable volunteers with all the medicines they can carry as they go about their work.

CMMB is a founding member of the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD), an alliance of private organizations and medical product manufacturers dedicated to raising the standards of medical donations.

CMMB abides by the World Health Organization's guidelines for drug donations, which ensure:

1. Maximum benefit to the recipient;
2. Respect for the wishes and authority of the recipient;
3. No double standards in quality; and
4. Effective communication between donor and recipient.
