CMMB’s operations in Honduras feature strong program integration, the presence of a regional distribution center for medicines and supplies, and increasing placement of medical professionals as volunteers. The country also serves as CMMB’s base for regional management of our Integrated Management of Childhood Ilnesses (IMCI) work in Nicaragua and El Salvador. We also enjoy very strong relationships with the Catholic Church throughout the region and with other local partners. CMMB’s strategy is to continue support for IMCI and our collaboration with the Catholic healthcare network, while expanding our reach with new program instructions.
