> Responding to AIDS in China and India

CMMB programs are training nurses
and doctors in China in HIV prevention,
care and counseling. The China Nursing
Leadership Initiative strengthens the skills
of Chinese nurses in four provinces. By
training nurses who in turn train others,
the program aims to reach many of China’s
more than one million nurses.
In India, CMMB works closely
with the Catholic Bishops’ Conference
of India to reduce young people’s
vulnerability to HIV by operating counseling
and testing sites in two states.
